So, in India, John, apparently they let the toilet empty directly onto the train tracks. . . gross. Poor baby. Interesting story.

No She Is Not!
For everybody trying to find out what "the big news" is in my families life, it's surely is not the my wife is preggers. So for everyone that has called and anyone that wants to call the answer to that question is NO! The news that is probably being referred to is that we have moved, my dog died, a cat ran away, another cat now lives at the neighbors, one of my nephews killed Logan's fish and we are still unpacking. I have had more money put into my contract and I am still able to pay the bills. Also I am taking piano lessons and this one song in the key of A is driving me crazy. Simple little song but it sure does hate me.
Only $15,000 a month for rent
Yeah. Kade had his first game last night (read about it on our blog...oh, and read about Daniel's new idea of a cup too). As I was talking to one of the moms about rent she said they had been renting for 4 years now instead of buying. I looked at her and said, "but you're up in the hills right?" (I already knew this from speaking to her last time) Well, yeah and they pay $15,000 a month in rent. $15,000 for 4 years. I was sorely tempted to ask what her husband did for a living and how I could do it too.

Falling Icicles
Falling icicles in Russia killed six people recently. M&D watch out for the big ones!!! Maybe you should walk around with biking helmets on until everything thaws out!
NEWSLETTER? COMING
I promise the newsletter is almost complete, but I need everyone to put a little pressure on Bowb and Ang. I was told they would have it to me, but I haven't seen it yet. Otherwise, it is ready to go to press. It is an exciting one, of course. I will get it asap, maybe without the news from Bowb's family. Besides, they probably have had the most happen in the last little bit, why do we need to know what is going on with them?

Another "Only In Beverly Hills" Moment
So, Kade and Jacob are both playing baseball. When I got the team rosters and coaches names I didn't think anything about it. Didn't even really read the names. Well, one of Kade's coaches is none other than Larry King. Yes, the Larry King. He will be the first base coach. I introduced myself to him, shook his hand, and told him we went to church with his wife and boys. His son Chance is on Kade's team. One of Kade's other coaches was a pitcher for the New York Yankees, Hecter Peneta. Good looking guy and he was pretty impressed with Kade's catcher abilities. He was throwing some pretty hard pitches to Kade and he caught almost every single one. He said he worked with one of the best catcher trainers in the world and that Kade will be an integral part of the team. He wants to work individually, apart from regular team practices, with Kade. This will be an amazing opportunity for him. He's taking it in stride and actually I don't think he understands how lucky he is to have been drafted to this team. Only in Beverly Hills.

Rihno's and ER's what do they have in common?
This week has been intereting to say the least. First the Rihno virus decided to make a visit to our home and to say the least I know now why it is called the Rihno virus. Not only was I sick but Am is sick and so is Q2, poor kids. At least I was sick mostly over the weekend and not during the week. Also Car decided that last night we as a family needed to get out of the house and go to the ER for a visit. Car and mom were playing a racing game to the table to see who could get there first and Car won. As she was jumping onto the chair she decided it would be best to contiue the race by flipping off of her chair head first and hit the chair next to hers resulting a nice gash to the noggin. Thus her plans of getting the family out to the ER worked. Once there we only had to wait for 2 1/2 hours to be seen (I can only imagine with socilized medicine what the wait time would be) by a PA who said it did not need stitched just glued. Through it all Car did not cry or even flinch, she took it like a "man". She deffiantly did better than I would have. I wish they had glue when I was a kid. But why such a long wait at the ER? Because people would come in with a fever or a cough and want to see a doc. Listen, if you feel like you have the flu or cold don't come in to the ER and waste valuable time for really hurt or sick people having heart attacks, go to the damn urgent care that is open until 9:00pm. This is all I have to say about that. We finally made it home by 10:00 pm and got the kids off to sleep. Now only if our friend the Rihno would leave.

Florida or Philly
We're still waiting and waiting and waiting some more to decide where we will end up. Trying to iron out the details of contracts is agonizing at best. It also seems like every time we turn around something changes, someone wants more money than they originally said, or things are a little bit different than they were said to be. I suppose this happens with every employment opportunity and there comes a time where you just have to bite the bullet or take a plunge. The kids and I would really prefer to move to Florida and even Wade says he would prefer the weather, lakes, and beaches there. Although, I did have a dream about being stuck in a swamp surrounded by alligators last night. Not pleasant. Being eaten alive has to be a horrible way to die. Sharks, bears, alligators, mountain lions, all of those things with sharp teeth and claws made to rip flesh make me nervous.

A Little Nicer Weather
Well, I am off to St. George for the weekend, where the temps are supposed to reach into the 60's. So all of you out there, other than Chris of course, oh and maybe John, don't be too jealous. I need a break from shoveling. Not to mention, Brett needs a break from his commute. It took him 4 hours to get home last night and we had to miss our reservations at the best steakhouse around, Ruth's Chris (boohoo).

Get Out and VOTE
Just reminding all of you with primaries today to get out to vote!!! The kids and I attended a Meet Mitt Ralley last night in Long Beach. We had a good time for awhile, then Dan had had it and started to scream. Embarassing as we were right at the front by the podium. I had to take him out of the crowd. Mitt had a good message and it was fun to see campaigning in action.
The picture of Daniel is him up on the stand. People got to sit up there behind Romney and his family and Dan wanted to join them. Mitt's sister Jane is in our ward and Daniel has "befriended" her. She was sitting a few seats over and he kept trying to get up there to sit by her. The next pic is of Romney with his newest grandson.

More Help Needed
Now I need someone to tell me how to rotate my pictures. I could also do a slide show if someone tells me how to do that. I also need someone to tell me how to delete the pictures off of my camera. You would be proud of me as I looked on google to see how I could upload my pictures, dad forgot how, and how to add the Russian language on the keyboard. This is a trial and error process for us old timers. Luv MOM

Romney
So, I don't think I've mentioned this before, but Mitt's sister, Jane, is in our ward. I will be attending a "phone-a-thon" type production tomorrow to help his campaign efforts here in CA making phone calls with a transcript to read from. Hmmmm I'm sure it will be interesting to say the least.
