Facebook - To all parents

Parents,

Suggest you remind your children that everything on Facebook is able to make it's way into the public. Univrsity Admissions, Recruiters, Companies etc are known to look at candidates Facebook sites as part of thier background checks. More than once postings that were meant in jest or fun have come back to haunt the individual. I've already had a word with Boo about his Facebook site that he is letting Kyrie and her friends complete. Suggest the rest of you have a word with your children as this is the lattest missive I came across " i be a ho on the shmo" If you're fine with your child referring to themselves as a ho then more power to you.

May I also suggest that you help you children set the privacy settings on facebook so that only friends can see there page. I've done so, and no longer have a public listing and only those who I've made friends are allowed to view my facebook page.

Yeah, well since she is just 15 I doubt anyone would look up all of her past postings for 5+ years. She and her friend were making up a rhyme. Our accounts are all private, but any good hacker could access them anyways. That is why she should never post address and private info which she has done before.
