Baby Name
We are thinking of naming our new boy Matteus. So how many of you can pronounce this (ma-Tay-uus) with a soft u (uuus or ooos not us)? Ivana is in a little maternal bliss frenzy. She has organized all the baby clothes in the lower 1/2 of the changing dresser and throughout the closet. She gets all twitterpated when she opens the drawers and stares longingly at the little shoes, onezies and clothes. Lucas looks at and thinks "Hey that is all my old stuff" and demands to be dressed in clothes that haven't fit him for a year.

It doesn't sound much different than the Dutch name, but I'd have to hear you pronounce it just to be sure.

Actually Matthew is Matteus spelled funny. Matteus pre-dates Matthew by centuries.
