Kyrie Goes to Homecoming

In an effort to "get involved" and make some more friends here, and hopefully be happy here, and hopefully stop making her parents crazier than they already are, Kyrie agreed to go to homecoming. She decided the day before, which didn't leave us with many options on a dress. I think she looked beautiful, despite the bare shoulders. Believe it or not, there are no "formal" type dresses made with sleeves and if they are made, they aren't sold here in Florida. So, yes, I let my daughter wear a sleeveless dress to a dance and she looked great, bad tan lines aside.

SLEEVELESS???? SLEEVELESS???? I thought sleeveless was when it went over the shoulder, but didn't have sleeves. She does look pretty, but not 16 and in a STRAPLESS dress.

She went with a group of girlfriends, no boys, and sorry Sarah I recall a black & white # you wore in HS that was strapless. Hypocrits hahahaha She had fun and her mom said her dress was okay and that is all that matters.

As life goes on in the World.... Kyrie you look beautiful, and where do all those curls come from. And you can go out in groups so I hope you had fun! NOw let me remember a girl out in Arimo that someone went to visit at 15.... lots of other things that no longer seem important as one gets older. Kyrie will figue out things with her HF care. Luv M, GM

Wade,
time to buy a shotgun and a shovel and keep them near the door in plain site when the date comes to pick up your daughter.

An attractive young lady with a well to do Dr. dad is going to draw boys like flies to honey. Good luck.

My two won't be allowed to set foot in Brazil once they hit their teens.

can her Dad do anything about all the spots on her face? she refuses to add me to her facebook account as she says I'm mean to her. Simply not true.

Those are freckles and are cute! Kyrie you should feel special as you created the most response to the blog than any other. You just remind me of how time is flying. I still remember Paula finding a 2/3 yo old the street that was headed to her grandma. As I keep telling you find joy in this age is it so fleeting. We luv you GM

I never wore a strapless-wore sleeveless and Halter. Thanks though. I have the pictures to prove it.

Leave her freckles alone. I think you failed to mention if she had fun or not.

Kerrie, just remember who you are, you are not in Kansas anymore, not that you have ever been, and boys don't just want you to wear their lettermans jacket anymore. you look so pretty and i hope you had a great time, and i hope you always date in large groups, until you meet the man of your dreams, then i hope you always double with your parents or take a brother along. i do suggest you invest in a few glamourous pashminas for the next go-round. amber

this from the girl who says she's a ho on the shmo....let her wear what she wants. mini skirt with the g-string poking out the top, belly buttin piercing and halter top. and a tattoo that says daddy's girls across the lower back. that's what it's all about.
