HomeOwners Insurance and Florida
Wow, is it a crazy thing. None of the major insurance carriers are writing new policies for Florida and many have actually started dropping customers they have had for years, even those who have never filed any type of claim. There is a company set up by the state that will write policies through these agencies, but I'm a bit nervous as we have a diving board and slide at the home which makes it almost impossible to find anyone who will write a policy. If worse comes to worse I guess we will remove them. Sigh

welcome to the joys of home ownership.....wait until your first hurrican hits and the insurers blame it on something that itsn't covered in the policy....and you remember how dad used to make everyone sign a waiver before they could use the skateboard ramp or tramp. suggest you consider something similar.
