I just found out that my director at Jerusalem passed away after a battle with Leukemia. He was one of those men who truly looked each student in the eyes and touched them in their hearts. Inspired, spiritual, beloved, and kind. Odd how it just so happens to be at the 10 year mark for me going to Israel. It has been such a day of reflection. . . it always makes me think of what I will be remembered for. Here is the link to his obit in case any one is interested.
