So LongTonsils
I must say that after seeing Alyssa go through this I have no idea how adults make it. She is doing fairly well but is still completely miserable. Today she didn't do as well as yesterday but I hear after day 5 it will start to look up. Alyssa will probably miss her first day of school on Thursday, but she doesn't seem to care. Her teacher is going to be gone the first week of school anyway. She will have a sub. Logan had a good time at his party at outer limits. He is sooo big I can't believe he's turning 5 of Wednesday(he's my baby). Life has been crazy and I am really excited for school to start. A routine sounds wonderful.

Still Here and Kicking It
We're still surviving, just lost our internet connection at the condo thanks to the boys fighting over who's turn it was and breaking the aircard which Verizon wants $279 to replace. No thanks. We are closing on our home on Wed, the 20th unless something unforseen goes wrong.
Kids started school on Wed. and I'm glad to have them on a bit of a schedule and out of my hair. Wade is being very pleasant right now since we are at the office so I have to go.

Going to Donetsk

Just wanted to let you all know we will be gone the next 10 days to Donetsk, southern Ukraine. We are both doing fine. Dad feels scalped as he had to get another Ukrainian haircut before the summer was over. We are surprised how dark it is getting already in the evening, was after 10:00 now it is before 9:00. That just means that fall will be here before we realize. Hope all the kids are enjoying the start of school. There are a few birthdays while we are gone so happy birthday to the following: Jacob, Logan, Kaylee and Brent. Hope you all have a great birthday. Enjoy each day to the fullest because before you turn around you will wonder where the years have gone. Now I am thinking I am my mother's age. We love you all and think of you often. Hope all is going well. Luv M&D, GM&GP,J&J

Happy Birthday Mom
Sorry I didn't get a chance to have you call me to wish you a happy birthday, maybe tomorrow. We have been busy with our foreign exchange student. Thanks for being such a great example of charity and patience. You are always so willing to serve and do things for others. You really are an amazing woman. Hope you had a great day!!! Chris, PS, how does not having the internet have to do with your ipod?

Kids Say the Darndest Things
Kade was trying to explain to Kyrie and Jacob that since he now holds the priesthood they have to do what he says. We all had a good laugh at that and I was trying to explain to him what unrighteous dominion means. I also mentioned that since his dad has the priesthood would he like that rule to apply to him. Jake piped up and said, "and yeah, he holds the IRONIC priesthood too, and the higher one, so you really have to do what he says." Bawhahahaha We all laughed and laughed at that one.

please invite me
Chris I need an invite to your blog I've got some comments on Breaking Dawn. Please let me in!!!!
I would also like to share my most recent brush with the wild. The would be the skunk I tried to scare out of the garage while still thinking it was a cat. Once I got a better look I ran and hid in the car until it passed. I must say I am unbelivably lucky.
